Day 1: Thursday

Arrival Cairo - Land of the Pharaoh’s

Welcome to Egypt to start your Luxury Nile Cruise. You will be met and assisted at Cairo International Airport by our representative who will assist you with your Visa then transfer you to your 5 Star Meridian Hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 2 Friday:

Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

Your personal Egyptologist Tour Guide Pick will collect you from the hotel by air-conditioned vehicle for your visit of the famous Giza Plateau and the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid of Cheops, Middle Pyramids of Chephren and the smallest Pyramid of Mykerinos, not forgetting the Mysterious Sphinx. The tour includes visit to the Valley Temple which faces the great Sphinx. On the way you will have lunch, then enjoy a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which exhibits a collection now of over 120000 artefacts ranging from Pre-Dynastic era and includes the famous mask of the boy King Tutankhamun. Afterwards an enjoyable afternoon of shopping at the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar and Old Market in Cairo. Finally back to the hotel for a well earned rest.

Please note* There is an additional charge for entering inside the Pyramids and also the Solar Boat Museum. Please speak with your tour guide should you wish to purchase a ticket to enter one of these sites. Also there is an additional charge for the Mummies Room at the Museum of Antiquities.

There is optional evening tour to attend the fabulous Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids.

Day 3: Saturday

Fly Cairo to Luxor - Nile Cruise Tour

Breakfast at the hotel then our representative will collect you by an air conditioned private vehicle for your transfer to Cairo Domestic Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival you will be met and assisted by our representative and transferred to your 5 Star Nile Cruise for embarkation. Once checked in, you will enjoy a delicious lunch on-board then be driven with your English speaking tour guide to visit the famous Karnak Temple in Luxor.

Following this, you will have a tour of Luxor Temple. You will then be transferred back to your Nile cruise in Luxor with free time at your leisure ( maybe relax in the pool on-board) overnight on-board.

*Optional tour is available to the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, or a tour around traditional Luxor City Market with a Guide or you may like to do it independently.

Back to your Nile Cruise for evening dinner. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Sunday

Luxor Nile cruise Tours

An early breakfast before heading off with your Tour Guide to explore the West Bank and the world renowned Valley of the Kings marvel at a selection of the beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs, many of which still display their vibrant colours with breathtaking details of deities and scenes from the Book of the Underworld. Visit the impressive colonnaded and terraced Temple of Hatshepsut. Passing by the huge twin statues known as the Colossi of Memnon.

Return to your Nile Cruise for lunch and before setting sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu with dinner on-board.

Day 5: Monday

Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Early breakfast on-board before your 8:00 am visit with your Tour Guide to Edfu Temple. A Kalesh ride (horse and carriage) will take you for an exploration of the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate and inside. Edfu temple has a room called ‘The House of Books’ the inscriptions of this chamber include a catalogue list of books. When finished return to the Cruise for lunch as you sail to Kom Ombo - afternoon tea served on deck. On arrival at Kom Ombo, your guide will be take you to see Kom Ombo Temple which is shared by two Gods Sobek and Haeroris. It is the only temple shared by two Gods in Egypt. Next set sail to Aswan under the large structure of Aswan Bridge considered the ‘Gateway to Nubia’. Before arriving in Aswan, there will be dinner on-board along with a fun evening in the form of a ‘Galabiya Party’ Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Tuesday

Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Early breakfast on-board before an 8:00 am visit to Aswan’s High Dam. Then we go to see the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ at the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned.

Cross by boat to Philae island to see the Temple of Isis which is one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built.

Back for lunch onboard then in the afternoon, take a Felucca and sail across the Nile to Elephantine island.

Evening dinner on-board followed by the colourful Nubian Show. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7: Wednesday

Optional Abu Simbel Tour - Fly Aswan to Cairo

Enjoy leisurely breakfast on-board before disembarkation with free leisure time in Aswan. You may want to take the opportunity for the highly recommended optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temples by private vehicle or by Egypt Air Flight. Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions to see the magnificence temples of Pharaoh Ramesses II and his queen Nefertari. Theses temples are a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Transfer to the Aswan airport for your departure to Cairo where you will you be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 8: Thursday

Cairo - Departure

Breakfast at your hotel and transfer back to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.
