PROGRAM ITINERARY

 

Day 1

Cairo

Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will find our representative waiting for you with a Beauty Egypt Tours sign. After the airport formalities you will be transferred by A/C vehicle to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2

Cairo

After breakfast your tour starts with a to visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. On display is rare collection of 5000 years of art, the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Among the exhibits is the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewellery.

You will visit the Pyramids of Khafre, Khufu and Menkaure. Next you will visit the Sphinx then you will enjoy a free camel ride.

(Optional) Evening trip to attend the Sound and Light show at the Pyramids area.

At the end of the day we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 5

After breakfast you will visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu then sail to Kom Ombo.

Lunch on board before visiting the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Afternoon Tea onboard. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 6

After breakfast we sail to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae returning to the Cruise for lunch. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7

Breakfast on board before disembarkation.

Visit the Temple of Abu Simbel, The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II (XIXth. Dynasty) and lately saved from inundation of the Nile waters in among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments.

The temples were built out of a sandstone rock cliff, and are a representation of the deities to which each was dedicated is carved on its huge façade. Nearby, also saved, lies the small Temple of the King’s wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor return to Aswan.

Transfer to Aswan airport and departure by plane to Cairo, upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo

Day 8

ALEX

After breakfast our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour to Alexandria.
Your visit will start with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – which houses 8 million books. Visit it’s open court and free museums.

Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase an extra ticket.

Then visit the Site of the Lighthouse; one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World on which now stands the castle of Qaitbey.

Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as the royal beaches of the queens. Continue your tour by visiting the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city: the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, as well as the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.

You can then stop for lunch (Optional) before visiting the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa before driving along the Cornish (30 km) to see the whole city of Alexandria from the sea side which includes the old harbour of Alexandria where 7000 monuments were found underwater.

Stop over the famous bridge of Stanley – the modern landmark of modern Alexandria, before visiting the old downtown of Alexandria and walking through the old city-centre of Alexandria which was built by Alexander the Great. Travel in comfort back to your hotel.

Alexandria has so much to see, feel, eat and buy so if you have time and want to add more to your itinerary – just let us know what you are interested in and we will arrange it for you at the cost price.

Day 9

After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo by an A/C vehicle. Visit Salah El Din Citadel which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders.

Next visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came specially from Istanbul and build this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled for over 45 years.

Then proceed to Visit Old Cairo where you will enjoy the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue the Church of St. Barbara and the Church of Abu Serga. Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 10

El Bahariya Oasis

This morning after breakfast you will depart from Cairo at 6:00 am. You will be transferred to Bahariya Oasis about 350 km east Cairo. (journey takes about 4 hours) Lunch will be served at a local restaurant at Bahariya oasis.

Visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies, which is a huge burial site at Bahariya Oasis in Egypt’s Western Desert, then visit the Tomb of Bannantiu.

Enjoy climbing the Black Mountains and a visit to the English House, the sand dunes and the Salt Lake- returning to overnight in Baharia

Day 11

White Desert – El Bahariya – Cairo

After breakfast we drive to the White Desert, enjoy the vista of Black desert as we drive to the White Desert. You will visit the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain and the rocky formations in the Valley of Agabat before arriving the White Desert National Park.

Return to Cairo and overnight.

Day 12

Cairo- Departure

After breakfast our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you through final departure formalities.

Cairo excursions:

Giza pyramids and the Great Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum,

Aswan excursions:

Philae Temple - High Dam - unfinished Obelisk -  Felucca- Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple

Luxor excursions:

The Valley of the Kings (including 3 tombs) Hatshepsut Temple the Colossi of Memnon - Karnak Temple - Luxor Temple and Luxor market.

Optional excursions

Luxor-Aswan



*** Nubian village in Aswan:

One of the most exciting things to do while you are in Aswan, explore the Nubian community at the edge of the river Nile. A 3-hour river trip from Aswan to Gharb Soheil which includes hotel pickup and drop-off, traditional drinks in a local home, and a guided tour of the village. Travel by motorboat for a comfortable trip on the Nile, passing Elephantine Island, the First Cataract of the Nile, and ancient landmarks on the East and West Banks of the river.

Visit the age-old  Luxor Temple on the Nile’s East Bank  with your personal Egyptologist guide. Walk the awesome Avenue of the Sphinxes, and see other highlights as you learn the history about the huge columns, courts and statues.
